Patty Wolpe

Patty is Co-owner of Amenity Day Spa. She has been practicing medical esthetics for eight years and holds a Virginia Master Esthetician License. She is also a certified electrologist and a certified Xtreme Lash stylist. She specializes in advanced esthetic treatments such as anti-aging facials, photorejuvenation, laser hair removal, and advanced microdermabrasion. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and is currently taking classes toward a Registered Nursing License. She practices medical esthetics at Amenity on Monday nights, Thursday’s, Friday’s and every other Saturday. “I give 200% to every guest I have. I strive for my guests to leave our spa feeling completely transformed. I work with my guests to greatly improve their skin with a specialized treatment program formulated for their specific needs.” She lives with her husband, Bill, and her two Border Collie puppies, Shelby and Coby, in Leesburg.

Mandy Dhillon

Mandy is Co-owner of Amenity Day Spa. She has been practicing esthetics for more than seven years and has a large and loyal following. She excels in all aspects of her career. She specializes in corrective facials, electrolysis, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal and permanent makeup. She has an extensive reference list of Amenity Day Spa guests that have been thrilled with her treatments. Book a complimentary consult and browse her portfolio.  You’ll be amazed. Amanda Smith
Spa Director

Amanda is the center of our organization. She keeps the boat afloat. Amanda is a native Northern Virginian and holds a bachelor degree in public relations and communications from George Mason University. She makes sure each of our guests has a uniquely enjoyable spa experience with every visit. Behind the scenes, she does a tremendous job of hiring the best and the brightest employees in the market and keeps their schedules packed!

Erica Thomas
Manager

Erica is originally from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. She studied Business Administration at Aquinas College and Medical Administration at Olympia before moving with her boyfriend to Loudoun County in September 2005. After a stint in the medical field, she joined the Amenity family to cultivate her interest in esthetics and massage therapy. She enjoys the client interaction aspect of her position. Her favorite time of year is Fall and there is no where she would rather be than her grandparents cabin in Northern Michigan.

Carolyn Davis
Assistant Manager

Don’t let her quiet personality fool you! Carolyn is our secret wild child. She is currently in school part time getting her degree in psychology. In her free time, she loves to shop and is a total movie junkie. Carolyn is our master at detail management. She excels at making sure your stay at Amenity is perfect, right down to the fluffiness of your robe.

Katherine Peck
Assistant Manager

Katherine moved to Northern Virginia about 5 years ago. She joined the Amenity Day Spa Staff November of 2007. Katherine has been involved in Customer Service her entire working career. She comes to Amenity having a background in Restaurant Management as well as Salon Management. She loves the spa atmosphere and environment. She is planning to finish her certification in Massage Therapy so she will definitely be more hands on.

Michele Havener
Assistant Manager

Michele has done a great job running our front desk on a part-time basis for several years now.  She is a full time assistant principal for the Loudoun County School System and has been in the school system for 29 years.  She is a proud mother of two sons serving in the military.  Michele has a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music and a Master’s in Education.  She also works part-time as a casino dealer.

Cindy Jarvis
Licensed Esthetician

Cindy joined Amenity as an esthetician in 2005. As a graduate of Yvonne de Vilar Scientific Skin Care School, she is well educated in all aspects of skin care and make up artistry. She is especially talented in brow shaping, advanced microdermabrasion, and her clients rave about her facial massage! Cindy has a special interest in anti-aging skin care as well as educating teens in proper skin care techniques. She is extremely dedicated in assisting her guests in achieving their goals for healthy skin by combining her extensive knowledge of skin care, sense of humor and a knack for pampering to create a session of total well being. If you would like healthy, beautiful skin and a relaxing escape, Cindy is the esthetician for you!

Julie Jones
Licensed Esthetician

Julie came aboard Amenity in early 2006 as another wonderful & talented esthetician. We keep Julie’s schedule full with her clients who just keep coming back for their personalized skin care pampering.

Julie lives in Ashburn with her husband and 3 kids. Her oldest son is in college in southern Virginia. How? She looks soooo young! Ask how she does it!

Mai Lyn Edwards
Licensed Esthetician

Mai Lyn has 15 years under her belt (how did she do that? She’s so young) as a gifted cosmetologist, nail technician and esthetician. She joined Amenity Day Spa one year ago and has been going strong ever since. Mai Lyn takes her time to form a close relationship with her guests (some of which have been with her for years and years). She graduated from Robert Morgan Cosmetology School in 1991, Miami School of Nail Technology in 1992 and went back to Yvonee de Vilar Esthetic School to further enhance her esthetics education with a diploma in 2005. Mai Lyn enjoys going out to dinner, going to the movies and cooking.

Nick Shade

Nick has been a certified massage therapist for over 5 years and has lived in Northern VA since 1994. Amenity’s Massage Therapists are constantly learning and improving their skills. Nick is currently learning the art of Reiki (energy work) and next he plans on attending a class on craniosacral massage.

Yolanda Lightning, NCTMB

Yolanda has over 15 years of practical experience in the field of Therapeutic Massage and over 1000 hours of specialized massage therapy and body work training. Although proficient in many massage modalities, Yolanda specializes in Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Shiatsu and Reflexology. Her work integrates various massage modalities which creates a style that combines attentiveness, flow, stretching, injury management and relaxation techniques which are tailored to each client’s specific needs. Yolanda is a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professional) and is Nationally Certified. She lives in Leesburg with her husband and amazing 6 year old son Chaz.
